Profile bio

About Samuel Rose

Already in my young career I have been blessed with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a number of diverse roles. I have experience as a reservoir engineer forecasting exploration wells in the Western Desert of Egypt which are only limited by the size of the pump in the hole; I have experience as a production engineer working diligently to drain the last molecules from depleted Red Fork gas wells; I have experience as a field intern in a Permian waterflood consisting exclusively of rod pumps, ESPs, and pulling units; and I have experience as an operations engineer in a Western Anadarko field dominated by gas lift, plunger lift, and P&A operations. I have also spent time in the corporate office booking reserves and becoming familiar with other functions such as planning and capital systems. Currently, I am in a Permian reservoir engineering role working on well spacing, parent-child relationships, and maximizing return on investment. Through this collection of experiences along with numerous opportunities for continuing education, I have become familiar with a wide range of geographies, geologies, and technologies. I am now well-accustomed to change and very good at learning on the fly. I am extremely detail-oriented, precise, and thorough; I am a hard worker and a good communicator; and I am always eager to take on new challenges.
