- Returned for my Placement Year at University as the senior PE/Sports Assistant and Assistant Manager of the Holiday Club- I was regularly left in charge of the day to day operations of the holiday club when the holiday club manager was away- This involved managing the activity leaders, activity support staff and children, as well as being responsible for the holiday club phone and dealing with parent queries. I also lead taking children on trips and regularly liaised with external providers running activities within the holiday club. - Assembled information for and produced a weekly sports newsletter on Microsoft Word and then Microsoft Sway to be shared with staff, parents and pupils on the Head's weekly newsletter.- Produced and delivered a termly Sports presentation at the end of every term highlighting the important sporting accomplishments of pupils and staff inside and outside of the school. - Designed the schedules for the Holiday Club on Canva which included creative activities arts and crafts, sports, and games.- I was trusted to liaise with parents regarding fees, availability, and logistics during the holiday club and for sports fixtures in term time.- Regularly led PE and Sports sessions for children in Reception to Year 11 and had to report back to the Director of Developing Sport and Head of PE on students progress and attainment in these sessions.- Cooperated with other schools to plan sports fixtures while managing the responsibility for the organisation each team to attend fixtures.- Inspired students with my session delivery and critique which presented opportunities for the students to enhance their skills and grow their evaluation skills by observing one another, which enabled them to have more autonomy and consideration for improvements when it came to their development
