As a derivative valuation analyst in the MVD team, my primary responsibility is to provide accurate and timely valuations for a wide range of financial derivatives.My role includes:- Collecting and analyzing market data, including interest rates, exchange rates, and volatility, to determine fair values for financial derivatives- Developing and implementing valuation models for various types of derivatives, including options, swaps, and other complex instruments- Reviewing and validating valuations generated by third-party vendors and other sources- Participating in discussions with stakeholders to explain the valuation methodologies, assumptions, and results- Keeping up-to-date with market developments, new products, and regulatory changes that may affect the valuation process
