I am a recent graduate of a Cybersecurity Analytics course through Flatiron online school. Here I: gained understanding of both LogRhythm and Splunk SIEM consoles by initiating logging on the systems and integrating the logs with each console. Deployed both consoles on different VMs, installed Windows Servers, Linux Servers, and virtual machines running Kali-Linux and Ubuntu, and utilized Nmap and Wireshark to perform network discovery, packet capture and traffic analysis.Additionally, I have been honorably discharged from the United States Army after four years on active duty. I was deployed once to combat in Baghdad, Iraq as a basic rifleman in an infantry unit. I have received multiple awards, promotions, and ribbons as well as combat action. As an infantryman, I learned not only the tricks of my trade but other jobs in the military as well. I have worked as a Private Military Contractor as a Personal Security Specialist under the Department of State's Worldwide Protective Services providing personal security to Diplomats and DoS facilities in demanding and dangerous counties abroad. I am Skilled in Crisis Management, Emergency Management, Tactics, and Command. I believe that my training, discipline, and experiences will be beneficial for employment with your company. I am a fast learner and can perform the duties and job responsibilities that the position requires. I consider myself a well-rounded individual with good personal skills. I am willing to listen to the advice of my peers and superiors to make sure the business operates and functions to its fullest capacity everyday.
