I have always been fascinated by nature and the outdoors. John Muir, a famous naturalist and conservationist, once said “Everybody needs beauty...places to play in and pray in where nature may heal and cheer and give strength to the body and soul alike.” I truly believe in this statement. It is in the design process where we can create spaces to play, pray, heal, cheer and strengthen our fellow men. I love the challenge of design process, taking an idea and creating many possibilities. I am fascinated by the way design allows us to think outside the box in solving or dealing with environmental, social and functional issues that arise in our built and natural environment.
