First summer involved working on a heating/hot-water system rehaul for McConnell Hall, a dorm on the Northern Arizona University (NAU) campus. This project was deemed "impossible" from the start as the entire hot-water pipe system had to be replaced during the summer and fully functional before the next school semester. It was accomplished on-time due to high-quality time management and interpersonal skills. Towards the end of the summer, the entire team worked 80+ hours a week to make sure the project was accomplished on time because of material delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The following winter and second summer included closing out the McConnell Hall project and then managing the start-up and construction process of 5 different projects. Most of these 5 projects involved upgrading the mechanical systems of buildings around the NAU campus from pneumatic to DDC.Responsibilities included the following:-Documenting and managing building conditions photos using a 360-degree camera.-Conducting safety orientations, morning safety talks, and administering stretch and flex exercises.-Managing daily craft sign-in/outs and parking passes.-Uploading, inspecting, and managing submittals through the tool "Procore".-Procuring material from field requisitions, ordering from vendors, tracking material, and keeping the material inventory up-to-date.-Keeping the Labor Cost Productivity Report (LCPR) up-to-date.-Marking up documents in Bluebeam related to mechanical scopes of work.-Generating detailed scope workplans.-Conducting meetings between the team, clients, and subcontractors.-Writing, submitting, and managing RFIs.
