Jeff is responsible for bringing all Mead & Hunt services (facility design and engineering, airfield systems, energy and water resources, transportation, and environmental) to offer them to federal agencies. Jeff leads all business development for federal agency pursuits including building highly-qualified teams with other partner firms. He interacts with current and future clients ensuring their satisfaction with Mead & Hunt services, and develops ongoing professional relationships to benefit the firm's sustainable, growing, and profitable business. offering a quality product and aligning the business unit’s goals and objectives to support Mead & Hunt’s corporate business plan.Jeff's responsibilities include developing business through client and team-partner relationships and targeted business pursuits, ensuring the quality of products and services provided to clients, leading Federal Programs business and strategic planning efforts, and ensuring client satisfaction. Additionally, Jeff leads Mead & Hunt's Utility Privatization practice. He offers consulting for municipal clients interested in privatizing Department of Defense utility systems.

Jeff was responsible for leading the utility privatization program for two Army installations - Fort Campbell, KY and Fort Irwin, CA. He oversaw all operations and maintenance services, including 60 staff, as well the engineering and construction services. The program generated revenues in excess of $25 million per year. In addition, Jeff used his utility privatization expertise to assist municipal utilities in pursuing and acquiring Department of Defense utility systems. Several successes on behalf of municipal clients led to his personal recognition as a utility privatization expert.

Jeff was commissioned as a 2Lt via Officer Training School and was stationed in the CE design section at Norton Air Force Base, CA. After a stint as the Chief of Readiness and Logistics, he transferred to Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ where he was Chief of Design and Chief of Readiness. He accepted an overseas remote assignment as the Staff Civil Engineer to Air Forces Iceland at Keflavik, Iceland where he was responsible for all facility planning, programming, and design, and worked with the Navy and NATO for Air Force requirements. Following Iceland, Jeff was stationed at George AFB, CA where he was the Chief of Resources and Chief of Operations, before deploying to DESERT SHIELD/STORM as Deputy Civil Engineer Commander. Upon returning, Jeff filled the role of Chief of Closure as George AFB was on the BRAC list. After receiving his Masters degree at The University of Texas, Jeff was assigned to The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) as Associate Professor, teaching continuing education for Air Force civil engineer officers.Jeff final assignment was at Headquarters, Air Force Space Command in the Environmental Division. Jeff took early retirement from Space Command after 15.5 years in the Air Force.
