Gathered requirements, wrote detailed System Requirements Specifications, System Design Specifications, programmed, tested, implemented, performed performance and tuning, and provided production support for the systems below. • Statement of Health (SOH) – system that processes applications for customers who are applying for health insurance.• Federal Employees Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) - group life claim payment system for the United States Federal Government. This is the largest group life account in the world and MetLife’s oldest account which pays over 2 billion dollars annually. o Performed claim investigations, enhancements, and stabilized the PowerBuilder system soon after it was first moved into Production. o Maintained the datamart for this application and used it to write dozens of reports. o Coordinated with the onsite QA team and trained new members and the offshore QA team.o Received the 2nd Quarter 2004 Star Award for writing a web service to check beneficiaries against the US Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) for terrorist connections. o Worked on a process that prevented the payment of duplicate claims saving the company millions of dollars.• Benefit Information Operating System (BIOS) - group life claim payment system for non-Federal Government employees which pays over 6 billion dollars annually. o Received the 2007 CAO Quarterly Recognition Award for converting this system from the Group Life (GLIF) claim payment system.• Survivor Income Benefit Insurance (SIBI) – annuities claim payment system.

• An instructor for Fast Track to PowerBuilder 6.5, Fast Track to PowerBuilder 7.0, Mastering DataWindows, Advanced PowerBuilder Controls, Building Object Oriented Applications, Infomaker, Introduction to Structured Query Language (SQL), Fast Track to Adaptive Server Enterprise 11.9.2.• Provided technical support to clients on PowerBuilder and Adaptive Server Enterprise.• Designed and programmed the Central Receipting System (CeRIS) – SAP interface (Project Impact).• Converted the Central Receipting System (CeRIS) to make it Y2K compliant. • Programmed the transmission method of payment data from business centers nationwide to the main office (Project Guinevere).• Programmed the Central Receipting System (CeRIS) Server Upload System to accept and read data from the business centers nationwide and write it to the server database.• Programming language used was PowerBuilder 6.5 with Adaptive Server Anywhere 6.0 and Adaptive Server Enterprise.• Designed DataMart for manufacturing using S-Designor 5.0 and programmed data entry application using PowerBuilder 6.5 with PFC. • Wrote stored procedures to populate the database with marketing data for their Manage Local Markets (MLM) datamart.
