• Work in tandem with mechanical, hardware, and software engineers in modifications, experimenting, and testing of new and existing products.• FMEA testing on new products with detailed summaries on both the product & functional tester. Highlighting the effectiveness and deficiencies on both product & functional tester.• Coordinate and facilitate Beta Testing.• Lead weekly meetings in R&D to cover Engineer Change Request and Production Issues raised in Jira.• Extensive use of Jira/Agile to document and pass along projects within R&D such as: RTV's, PCR's/PCN's, FAI's , and ECR's.• Manage Sprints in Jira- Engineer Support Group, assign tickets with hours and story points.• Deploy functional testers to in-house Repair Dept. and Manufacturing facilities. Train personnel on using testers and troubleshooting techniques.• Provide support to manufacturing facilities to improve work documentation and existing processes.• Assemble first prototypes and assist Engineers in preparing products for accredited national and international certifications such as NHTSA, CSA, and CENELEC.• Experience with offsite test agencies.• Experience with environmental chambers in product testing and 4 corner testing for component qualification.• Component qualification experience in drop in replacement,second source and end of life replacement.• Lab experience servicing, calibrating and operating lab equipment, per Quality department procedures.• Limited use of python scripts, Terra Term- macro scripts, and AutoHotkey scripts to edit automated testing. Efficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel,and Microsoft PowerPoint.• Knowledgeable of digital and wireless communication and familiarity with communication technologies such as USB, Cellular, Ethernet, Bluetooth, WiFi and CAN and GPS.• Seasoned experience in troubleshooting complex problems in stressful situations. The ability to multi task different projects at the same time and meet strenuous deadlines.

• Manage day to day operations within the Repair Shop. Insure all monthly and yearly goals were met.• Hire and provided training to new staff. Retrain existing staff when necessary and provide training records. Prepare the staff with annual audits including, ISO 9001.• Order parts and tools when needed and managed parts inventory. Troubleshoot and fixed equipment when it was not working.• Worked closely with R&D and Test Group when new products were released. Worked closely with QA and Quality Manager to enforce corrective actions and preventative maintenance forms. Certified in IPC 610 and Certified Trainer.• Managed time studies on repairs to generate production forecast for upper management.• Vast use of multi-meters, J-Tags, schematics, soldering tips, de-soldering gun, component soldering, solder jumper cable and soldering tools.• Troubleshoot units that other techs. could not repair and train them on how to troubleshoot units. Inform R&D and Test Group when irregularities show up on any of our products.• Spent 9 months offsite in our manufacturing site, running a separate repair department operations.
