Responsibilities: • Manage, maintain, program, and operate four CNC 4kW fiber lasers, including two with load/unload automation • Coordinate a 24/7 work schedule between all four fiber lasers with 8 employees • Design and program all products for our CNC machinery • Create SOPs and PM schedules for all fiber lasers• Program, operate, and design for CNC press brake and 6-axis robotic arm• Streamline workflows inside and outside of my department through collaboration with other departments• Coordinate part orders and service tickets for all fiber lasers • Automate back end programming processes for report generating, design, and data attainment/manipulationAccomplishments: • Increased the efficiency of design, nesting, cutting, and shipping of customized products by over 200%• Decreased cutting and preparation times for almost every stock item nest by 10-30 minutes a sheet • Worked with a small development team to create and improve new automated backend processes• Created the front end interface of a custom made Java program that communicated with a SQL database that merged all OT and IT programs
