I am an experienced trial attorney, first-chairing cases concerning real estate and land use, energy law, and all types of commercial contracts. I love taking complicated industry-specific issues and distilling them into understandable, compelling arguments to juries and judges. A clerkship with Chief Justice Rice at the Colorado Supreme Court exposed me to a range of legal practice, and that experience informs my trial and written work here at Welborn Sullivan Meck & Tooley. I have tried cases for major companies including Chevron, Civitas, and Ovintiv, but I've also successfully represented individuals and small companies against some of the biggest, most expensive law firms in the country. Once judgment is entered, I've argued appeals and protected decisions throughout the appellate process.
