I am a junior at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, pursuing a degree in Construction Management. Nashville, TN is not only where I grew up but also where I cultivated a strong foundation in education, graduating from Station Camp High School. Prior to my college journey, I gained initial experience as a laborer with Peden Construction, where I worked for two summers and worked alongside the CEO of the company. From there, I became a project management intern with Enterprise Solutions, for two years I gained many interpersonal skills such as:conflict resolution, teamwork and communication. Both of these jobs instilled in me a deep understanding of problem solving and adaptability. Throughout the past year, I have had the privilege to intern with Consolidated Electrical Distributors in Knoxville, Tennessee further fueling my passion for the construction field. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am actively involved in the Construction Science Club, a dynamic organization that facilitates connections with accomplished men and women in the construction science major. In the club, I assist with event planning and organization of the entire club as the NECA ambassador. This engagement not only broadens my professional network but also empowers me to learn from the experiences of successful individuals in my field.
