Served as the president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). I was elected by my teammates to serve on the committee.- As a freshman, became the youngest to ever be elected as the president of the committee. Our committee is designed to represent the interests of my constituents, (the student athletes at UAPB) to vote on new legislation proposed by the NCAA, and to propose new legislation to the NCAA, as well as addressing any and all other issues that may arise that are at all connected to my constituents or their wellbeing. - Served as the liaison between all student athletes at the university, and the NCAA, the Southwestern Athletic Conference, and the administration at UAPB. During my tenure, our committee enjoyed unprecedented success and has taken the student athlete perception and quality of life to higher levels than ever before. - Founded initiatives that focus on positively portraying our student athletes in the community and accomplished this by facilitating countless community service programs and focusing on mentoring youth in our area. This was accompanied by using my contacts in the media to ensure positive exposure. It is my firmly held believe that the best way to positively change culture is to have a positive impact on those living in it.- Represented my University by casting votes on key pieces of NCAA legislation, putting together yearly agendas, and addressing issues arising from student athletes during the conference SAAC meetings at the SWAC headquarters in Birmingham AL.

- Started and lead a successful and extremely creative cross-cultural ministry with immigrants living in our area from all around the globe with a focus on reaching those from the Middle East. This initiative was the first of its kind in the area and has lead to incredible and unprecedented success. - Built and sustained a thriving children and youth ministry in less than two months in inner city, Pine Bluff. - Developed, planed, lead, marketed, and executed two, week long Vacation Bible Schools. - Preached two separate sermon series on the books of Jonah and 1 John. - Ran the day to day operations of the church including, answering phones, securing volunteers for assignments, counseling, etc. - Accomplished all objectives on time and under budget.
