CenturyLink are a Global, Tier 1 service provider, supplying network services, managed security, voice & UCC and cloud IT services to the Enterprise, Wholesale and Government markets. I worked in the enterprise team, with the target of growing my existing account base whilst protecting existing revenue. I managed approximately $4 million in annual revenue for the company.

Part of this role includes highlighting current and future needs of customers and then following the sales process. I currently manage over 180 accounts and am directly responsible for over £700K revenue per annum for the company. I also really enjoy the challenges and differences of new business opportunities. I enjoy speaking to a potential customer for the first time and by understanding their business needs will then recommend the best solution which brings in new revenue for Spitfire and supplements my existing account base.

I spent one year in the microbiology laboratory at Pinderfields Hospital, where I successfully assisted clinicians in diagnosing diseases for their patients so that they could be effectively treated. I enjoyed building professional relationships with staff across a broad spectrum of the laboratory heirarchy and also understanding how the different roles of staff worked together towards an overall goal.
