Primarily in this role I am the Health, Safety and Environment Officer charged with keeping a HGV workshop, offices and commercial vehicle yard safe and the personnel involved in service delivery.Lead manager for regulatory compliance, operational risk and reviewing business processes. This role also places me as the Information Technology Manager leading a team of 2 software developers and handling IT Infrastructure related change and support on all levels for an office of 70 staff.In this role I also lead the businesses involvement in Close Brothers Group projects such as PCI DSS and GDPR along with representing in several working groups such as the Customer Forum and Risk and Compliance Committee.

Joined the company at a time where its IT Infrastructure was unreliable, and users had a high dis-satisfaction with in-house fault resolution. With proactive support, user relationships and overhaul of IT infrastructure quickly managed to repair the image and opinions of the IT team.I currently manage all IT Infrastructure, this includes configuration and management of multiple Linux (mixture of Ubuntu LTS and CentOS) and Windows 2011 SBS & 2012 Severs. In this role I prepared laptop and desktop systems for use by the end-user for various Blue Chip companies. This involved deploying images using Norton to numerous systems and performing configuration post deployment with the aim of having a ‘plug in and go’ state when delivered to the user. I was also responsible for software and hardware diagnostics with some small involvement in Active Directory management. During my time at BT Lynx I began to implement secure data destruction on RMA server drives using various destruction methods depending on the drives quality.
