My name is Samuel Couceiro and I was born in 1987, in Coimbra, Portugal.I lived and studied in Coimbra until I graduated from the Coimbra Institute of Engineering, ISEC (Portugal), with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2009.I have worked at EFAPEL (in Serpins, near Coimbra) since 2009 as Mechanical / Project / Design Engineer, and also as Project / Team Manager since 2016, integrating the Product Research, Development and Innovation Department, creating new low voltage electrical and electronical components (mostly plastic and metal), until 2019.The daily work consisted in the research and development of new products, using CAD software, and project management (following the product from its creation to the time it is released in the market).In 2019, I moved to Lisbon and started to work at JSL - Material Eléctrico (in Queluz de Baixo), as Mechanical / Project / Design Engineer and as Project / Team Manager, integrating the Product Research and Development Department, creating new low voltage electrical components (mostly plastic and metal).The daily work consisted, as before, in the research and development of new products, using CAD software, project and teams management and also providing support to the Productive Tools Workshop, Injection, Metals/Stamping and Assembly sections.I am a communicative, hardworking, persistent person with sense of initiative and team spirit.With a natural interest in new technologies, methods and processes, I focus on continuous improvement.I am always open to new challenges, in order to develop my skills, in a continuous process of learning, making me a better person and professional.When I have some project in hands, I am committed and ambitious, focusing on the goals, but maintaining a critical spirit and attention to detail, always giving the best of me.
