Sam made the square peg fit in the round hole and worked long hours, side by side with an Armorer, who in hindsight was not qualified to do the task. Sam made it worked. He identified locations of unaccounted property and positioned the Battery for continued success. Additionally, Sam is qualified at tactfully identifying and communicating issues that must be resolved at higher levels. Sam is a can-do leader who accomplishes the task with his Soldiers and not at their expense. He is always present and in the moment. But more than anything, you know you can trust him.
