Focused on community development, mentorship, youth empowerment and career development, I have worked in the mental health sector, occupational health and safety, labour and employment, and workforce development. I describe myself as a hardworking and highly detail-oriented environmental enthusiast, mentor, and scholar. My passion stems from wanting to develop a sense of community in others and this extends to my interests in dance, the arts and professionally in the work I do and projects I run. I am a graduate of Saint Mary's University with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies. I possess several years of volunteer and work experience working in program management roles, business administration, event planning and leadership positions and I pride myself on my ability to bring ideas to fruition, help others identify and realize their goals, and streamline projects while taking them to a new level. My proven skills include organizing, researching, coordinating and assisting with event planning, community and team building and project development and management. I am also skilled in development and implementation of training sessions, taking a strong interest in self-development. I'm also the rare breed that loves delivering presentations, facilitating workshops and inspiring others.My goal in life is to build community and change perception thereby improving the way we look at nature and our relationship to community.
