During my time in McDonald’s, I worked in both the kitchen and in customer facing roles. I excelled in the high pressure situations in which quick thinking, teamwork and the ability to focus on the task at hand, even when circumstances within the kitchen became chaotic and almost impossible to manage. I displayed class and professionalism throughout my time in the position, and developed my skills in customer care and assistance. These qualities will prove to be important and improve customer satisfaction in any new role I face, as I have built upon my qualities of politeness and enthusiasm during this time.

In 2019, I helped to assist in an Autistic Cognitive Development research project at Edge Hill University, aimed at enhancing our understanding of perceptual differences between autistic and non autistic people and to engage local families with developmental research at the University. Working with both children and adults (autistic and neutotypical), I assisted 2 post doctoral researchers to conduct experiments in workshops held on campus, in schools and in private homes.My enthusiasm and professionalism led to the responsibility of leading a number of neuroscience workshops with both autistic and neutotypical children between the ages of 6 and 16.

In 2019, I completed 3 weeks work experience as an administrative assistant. I went through a training programme and completed office work throughout this time, handling office technology programs as well as managing paperwork for the company. I developed my team building and independence skills during this period, as well as effective time management skills as I was managing two separate jobs along-side the final period of school.
