As a member of the Bailey Nelson optical store team, I have had the privilege of playing a vital role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and personalised solutions for their visual needs. With a collaborative approach and a commitment to building trust and rapport, I strive to create a positive experience for each individual who walks through our doors.I work closely with our optometrists to guide patients in selecting the optimal eyewear solutions. Employing effective questioning techniques, I delve deep into their needs, preferences, and lifestyle to recommend eyewear solutions that align perfectly with their visual requirements.

As a key team member, I was responsible for efficiently processing customer orders, both in person and over the phone. My role required precise attention to detail as I accurately recorded and clarified order specifications, guaranteeing that customers received exactly what they desired. Beyond order taking, I skillfully packed orders, verifying their accuracy before they were dispatched.

I was selected from a pool of 400+ applicants as one of 40 Earlywork Academy Business Development Fellows in their fifth cohort.As part of Earlywork Academy, I received training in foundational tech sales skills such as prospecting, written outreach, cold calls, and discovery calls, as well as building knowledge applying tools like LinkedIn & Salesforce.The Earlywork Academy curriculum was designed in partnership with advisors at companies including Salesforce, SafetyCulture, & Uber.During the program, I was fortunate enough to apply these concepts in a real-world sales environment through a full-day Live Sales Apprenticeship with Buildpass, an Aussie B2B SaaS startup in the construction space.
