Samuel is a passionate and skilled project manager who supports the green economy in South Africa through his work at GreenCape, a non-profit organisation that drives innovation and investment in the sector. He holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and a Diploma in Leadership and Management.He has led and coordinated multiple projects on clean energy, resilience building, waste management, and aquaculture, aligning his research and practice with the UN SDGs, Regional Seas Programs, FAO Programmes, and other international and regional initiatives. He has delivered impactful results, such as developing a pipeline of clean energy solutions for municipal water treatment works, and supporting the integration of climate change adaptation and mitigation into the City of Cape Town's infrastructure planning and delivery framework. He has also demonstrated his core competencies in data analysis, report writing, communication, stakeholder engagement, and funding. He is a certified project manager, professional facilitator, and a member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology.
