Following the acquisition of my company by Freelance.com, I served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for 15 months. In this role, I managed a team of 30 IT professionals, which included both employees and independent contractors. My primary responsibilities encompassed overseeing the integration of IT teams from various acquisitions, ensuring seamless collaboration and harmonization of processes across the organization. I facilitated the onboarding and effective utilization of freelance IT experts, promoting a cohesive work environment despite the mixed nature of the team.Additionally, I directed strategic IT projects aimed at aligning disparate systems and technologies brought in through acquisitions, prioritizing and allocating resources efficiently to meet both immediate and long-term organizational goals. Cost management was a critical aspect of my role, where I implemented measures to optimize IT expenditures without compromising on quality or efficiency. I focused on leveraging technology to streamline operations, particularly in automating and digitalizing processes, which was crucial for Freelance.com’s digital-centric operations.One of my key achievements was spearheading initiatives to enhance and optimize business processes, addressing the high volume of monthly invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness in billing and payments. I defined and executed the company’s technology roadmap, aligning it with the broader business strategy to drive growth and innovation. Ensuring the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure to support Freelance.com’s operations across six countries was also a significant part of my role. Freelance.com is a global leader in providing services for managing external workforces, connecting companies with freelance experts and specialized SMEs to support their transformation initiatives.

An amazing journey achieving the biggest umbrella Payroll company in Switzerland with 240 millions CHF of Sales per year, 400 clients invoiced monthly with the excellent support of our 27 employees.I was in charge of the back and midoffice with a team of 22 people. Developed our own ERP Puma© managing from automatic timesheet to payment without any human intervention. Company was sold to the group Freelance.com in 2021 to enable Helvetic and the group to become an Europeen hub of Umbrella/Contractors Payroll.
