Supporting progressive non-profit and political organizations in the equal rights space in meeting their small dollar fundraising needs with the goal of democratizing the progressive movement. More specifically, I manage a team that provides assistance to organizations that focus on gender rights, racial and ethnic equity, LGBTQIA+ rights, disability rights, religious minority rights, and senior/children rights.

Co-led the organization’s election and voter protection outreach across Florida, including advocating for the facilitation of ballot access to all eligible voters at the state and local levels as well as supporting the larger Florida election protection coalition, which includes over 50 organizations. • Implement statewide and national strategic plans through data analysis, community organizing, coalition forming, and volunteer management to ensure we protect all voters before, during, and after every election. This includes co-leading the statewide language voting assistance campaign.

• Appointed by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners and Mayor with the task of reviewing the county’s governing charter, evaluating potential changes, and presenting ballot amendments to the more than 830 thousand registered voters in Orange County, Florida.

• Assisted in the program's promotion by organizing campus-wide events, including lecture series, open houses, etc. • Completed daily tasks that are key to the program's success, including doing research on the program's alumni and communicating with different student organizations.

• Collaborated to ensure benefit fulfillment (e.g. health insurance, car insurance claims, and 401K) for 5,000 employees nationwide.• Organized 15 events to foster a culture of inclusion and satisfaction among HFA staff members, including health clinics, visitor tours, and weekly conversations on race and identity.

In the summer of 2014, I was selected after a competitive and demanding application to be one of five Student Leaders representing the Central Florida area. The program provided eight-week paid internships with a local nonprofit organization (Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida), where I was able to mentor homeless kids ages five to twelve in writing, reading, and social studies. Additionally, we were provided a one-week trip to Washington DC to attend the Student Leaders Summit, featuring speakers, workshops, panel discussions, tours of the monuments and museums, leadership building, and speaking with legislators, nonprofit leaders, and business leaders.

As a Canvasser at Florida New Majority, I went out to different neighborhoods, asking voters in Orange County to sign a formal voter petition to put Amendment C to the County Charter in the 2014 Mid-Term election ballot. The petition process was successful as it gathered more than 50,000 petitions from voters in Orange County, but Amendment C was defeated on the ballot. I was also able to talk to members of the different communities about the problems they faced.
