As the owner of MidCity Kitchen, I run a shared-use commercial kitchen, coworking space, and event venue that supports food entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners in the Twin Cities. With a vision to build a community of innovators in food systems and creative services, MidCity Kitchen offers a flexible space for everything from small-scale food production to pop-up events. Our facility includes a coworking area designed for food system consultants, producers, and creative entrepreneurs, and a spacious, versatile event space ideal for dinners, fundraisers, and corporate gatherings.We've already launched a Farmers Market that brings together emerging farmers and local food producers, creating a platform for them to showcase and sell their products. This is a significant step towards realizing our broader vision of building a food hub that unites farmers, chefs, wholesalers, and distributors in the Twin Cities. We are also working on expanding our facilities with a self-serve food production area, increasing our capacity for Minnesota consumer packaged goods (CPG) production, and supporting cold storage for wholesale vegetable distribution.In addition to running MidCity Kitchen, I am the Founder of West&Co, where I work as a marketing and general business consultant. I bring a passion for business development, branding, and design that connects with consumers and drives brands forward. My team and I specialize in integrated marketing communications, brand management, and strategy, helping businesses grow in an ever-changing marketplace. Having worked as a brand and strategy lead for national clients, I have 17+ years of experience in rebranding, product launches, social media, and campaign development.Finally, when I’m not focused on branding or building community through MidCity Kitchen, I run Mr. Fuzz’s Fiery Foods, a small-batch fiery foods company featuring hot pepper sauces and other spicy creations. The vision for Mr. Fuzz’s is simple: Capture the fruit of the hot pepper without extinguishing its fire—leaving just enough heat to ignite the senses without overwhelming the palate.Together, these ventures reflect my commitment to supporting entrepreneurs, fostering community, and creating experiences that elevate brands and bring people together.
