I’m happy to share that in April I started a new position as Research Engineer at Western University's WindEEE Research Institute. In this role I am responsible for planning, executing and evaluating wind tunnel experiments. I work together with researchers, students and other technical staff to produce the highest quality research using the globally unique WindEEE Dome facility, specializing in tornado and downburst flows.

I worked as a Graduate student at Western University in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering . I completed my thesis research entitled "Effects of Climate Change on the Probability of Urban Tree Failures from Wind Gusts" in December 2022, earning my Master of Engineering Science. I completed a collaborative specialization in hazards, risks and resilience with the Multi-Hizard Risk and Resilience Group at Western University.

During my final year of undergraduate studies, completing my Bachelor of Engineering - Aerospace Engineering, I worked as a Research Assistant at the FRAMES Lab (Facility for Research on Aerospace Materials and Engineered Structures). In this role, I developed a PID control system to automate the manufacture of custom composite 3D printing filaments for aerospace materials research applications. I leveraged CATIA V5, C++ and Arduino software and hardware. The system I created successfully produced similar quality product while saving 90% of required team labour through automation.
