 Handling operation of Rubis's regional fleet (Middle East, East Africa and Indian Ocean) Voyage planning & instructions to vessels. Ship vetting/Clearance process. Stemming bunkers & its supply coordination. Appointing & Coordinating with shipping agent, Bunker surveyor, cargo quality & quantity surveyor  Vessel Efficiency & performance monitoring Laytime/Demurrage calculations and settlement. Hire/Freight/cargo related Invoicing and cash recovery process.

 Handling post fixture/Operations. Operating vessel on Voyage Charter, Trip time charter. Monthly handling postfixture/operations of 17 to 20 Nos vessels( Cape, Pmx, Supramax size). Activities includes, Preparing voyage details, Appointing port agent, appointing Weather routing services, Coordinating with bunker supplier, Appointing bunker and condition surveyors, bunker agents, giving voyage instructions to Master etc. Trading routes Indonesia, South Africa and Australia to Indian ports and tonnage sizes Supramax, Panamax and Cape size. Issuing voyage instruction, nominating port agents, and coordinating with accounts department for hire payments as well as vessel operating plans such as stowage plan review and bunker replenishment. Ensuring that all relevant information, ETA notices etc. and any other special requirements are being effectively communicated to Shipper/Receivers/trades/stevedores etc.  Monitoring daily operations to ensure normal operating standards are met. Ensure the stowage plan declared by owners/master is in conformity with all the parameter/restrictions of load and discharge port. Ensure shippers cargo declaration is in line with the IMSBC guidelines and the same is checked and well passed to owner/master, which describes the characteristics of the cargo. Close coordination with traders and agents to prepare bill of lading drafts. Preparing and issuing Letter of indemnity to owners when the Bills of lading are not available at the disport. Communicating with P&I clubs for any disputes/damages/issues arising during the charter and effectively resolving the issues.  Laytime/Demurrage calculations and settlement. Reviewing End of Voyage Report (EOV) to determine vessel performance speed, time lost, and bunker over/under consumption. Preparing daily vessel position report for our entire chartered vessel and maintaining/updating daily operational reports in the company ERP systems.
