He was previously the managing director and co-founder at Gamma Point Capital, a leading market neutral hedge fund acquired by BlockTower Capital. He has invested in and advised crypto exchanges, prime brokerage platforms, decentralized finance (DeFI) projects and real-world asset platforms on blockchain.Previously, Sanat was a Partner at IDG Ventures, a leading venture capital firm, where he led early-stage investments in AI, fintech, e-commerce, SaaS and enterprise software. He has full VC lifecycle experience including fund raising, deal sourcing, investments, venture development and exits.Sanat started his investing career at Intel Capital, a leading corporate venture capital firm, on the investment and corporate development teams. He was a partner and founding member at iSPIRT, where he led M&A transactions in the Indo-US corridor. He has full-cycle M&A experience from deal sourcing, competitive analysis, due-diligence, negotiations and agreement signing to post-merger integration.Sanat started his career as a chip design engineer at Intel where he was a member of the Pentium IV and Core microprocessor design teams.
