For the client Johnson and Johnson an ETL process was followed to complete a data transformation from csvs and Redshift to a new database: The initial phase of the ETL process involved crafting SQL models utilizing Jinja within Snowflake and Datacoves to effectively reshape data. Additionally, Python scripts were developed to fulfill diverse tasks, including data documentation for clients, comparison of similarities and differences within datasets, and automation of intricate processes to accelerate data transformations. This similarity-checking Python tool meticulously evaluates field types, row counts, and discrepancies, furnishing detailed dissimilarities. Active engagement in collaborative development was ensured through the creation of pull requests for main branch modifications and additions. Comprehensive documentation of bugs, errors, fixes, and issues was meticulously tracked using JIRA, enabling streamlined management of task progress within user stories. Starting the position specialized training encompassed PowerBi (with a focus on DAX), DBT (SQL), Qlik and Talend.Proficiency in PowerBi was showcased through the creation of interactive dashboards leveraging PowerQuery for data visualization, tailored to meet client needs. Similarly, adept use of QlikSense facilitated the transformation of data into user-friendly dashboards for effective presentation and analysis.
