Financial Control - Sony Electronics North America Eastern Distribution. Managed one Finance direct report. Cost management and monthly invoice negotiation for warehousing operation under Third Party Logistics (3PL) management. My scope of responsibility handled 60% in annual inventory shipments for Sony Electronics North America. I developed and presented monthly KPI reviews including performance metrics that maximized warehouse productivity and cost reduction initiatives. The analysis included metrics on thru-put and parcel shipping performance, storage density, temp labor and accessorial charges, warehouse damage (dpmo), inventory location accuracy, and cycle counting efficiency. Calculated and documented full comprehensive reverse logistics cost impact for warehouse damages. Results were used to submit and collect cash recovery on $175k damage expense from 3PL provider. Damages reduced 90% post claim recovery and study results continue to be used for SSCSA damage reduction project ROI analysis.
