As an MA Statistics student at Columbia University, I am passionate about applying data science to finance and technology (and basketball!). I am good in data analysis tools, such as SQL and Python, and have practical project work in Statistical Machine Learning, NLP, Statistical Methods in Finance from Columbia University.I have gained valuable experience as a Data Analyst Intern at Slice, a unicorn fintech company, where I used my problem-solving and SQL skills to minimize fraud in the form of BIN attacks and ATOs. I have also led or participated in several undergraduate and graduate research projects, where I performed various analyses and research and developed financial models (trading/portfolio) using statistics, operations research, and financial concepts. I am a concise communicator, and a fluid team worker, who values collaboration and contribution.
