1. File Management • Ensure service standards are attained for reviewing and processing files in accordance with Company policies and procedures. • Work in conjunction with Originations Team to ensure solicitor’s instructions contain all necessary requirements. • Follow up with solicitor to obtain Request for Funds, draft Charge, PAC and VOID cheque, Title Insurance. • Review and approve legal documentation and prepare preliminary advance figures for solicitor. • Provide necessary preliminary documentation to the Funding Specialists for approval and to ensure funds are disbursed and PAC is set up. • Follow up for balance of outstanding conditions with solicitors. Review and approve balance of documentation required to release funds to solicitors. • Work in collaboration with Originations Team and Funding Team to ensure service levels are maintained and targets are met.2. Risk and Compliance • Ensure Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client legislation is adhered to on all files. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s funding procedures, legal guidelines and resources.3. Communication • Display a commitment to the highest customer service ranking in the industry. • Communicate with solicitors’ offices. • Follow up with solicitors to confirm closing and obtain registered Charge/Mortgage.

1. Manage, compile and organize mortgage application information for mortgage loans in accordance with policy and procedures to create a complete package for credit approval.2. Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to collect outstanding documentation needed to satisfy the requirements as stipulated in the commitment.3. Review documentation with a strong emphasis on anti-money laundering (AML) and anti-terrorist financing (ATF) requirements, including but not limited to, income, down payment verification etc.4. To ensure that mortgage files are in compliance with the Company’s established policies and procedures.5. Responsible for time management of deal flow in order to meet prescribed deadlines.6. Communicate with internal contacts (principal broker, manager and administrative staff) and external contacts (mortgage lenders and clients) to ensure documentation is complete in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet tight deadlines while at the same time delivering superior customer service.7. Monitor changes to deals and update files as required and to send correspondence to the appropriate parties apprising them of changes.8. Ensure accurate record keeping – both electronic and paper based, and ensure that all records are stored and retained to meet Company standards.9. Respond to inquiries in a timely manner to meet service standards and foster positive relationships.
