Package Engineering of Centrifugal Air & Gas Compressors- Participate in internal & external kick-off meetings & engineering meetings- Study & Review of customer order scope and technical specifications and datasheets- Engineering and preparation of project engineering documents like General Arrangement drawing, Equipment datasheets etc. as per project requirement - Perform basic engineering calculations for sizing and selection of piping and structural components, oil tank sizing.- Execution of engineering design activities for accessories and packaging items like piping & piping accessories, control & safety valves, base frame, skids, structures and supports etc., based on good engineering practice, applicable international standard and company standards as applicable- Knowledge and interpretation of applicable industry standards (API-617, 672, 614, ASME Standards etc.)- Participate in Control philosophy discussions and HAZOP study meetings with 3rd party.- Co-ordinate with CAE to get the stress analysis done for structural and piping systems.- Co-ordinate with C&I team and review P&ID, instrument hook-ups.- Review fabrication drawings and bill of material for piping, support arrangements & skids for quotation & manufacturing purpose.- Review 3D models & fabrication drawings of subordinates and provide suggestions.- Resolve queries received from the vendor during the manufacturing & assembly.- Provide direction to design/drafting resources- Mentor junior engineers for project planning & basic project engineering activities throughout the execution of the project.

- Participate in the kick-off meetings & engineering meetings to get clarity on the project requirement & system in scope- Take complete responsibility of the project right from bidding till the assembly and dispatch from ACIL shop- Prepare preliminary General arrangement drawing to share with customer for discussions- Prepare project planning sheet considering the deliverables & resources available for the project- Perform basic engineering calculations for sizing and selection of piping and structural components, Foundation loading calculations, oil tank sizing calculations.- Build customized air compressor package to match customer requirements, specifications & P&ID- Plan Design review meetings with applicant at every step of project and get the designs/layout approved- Create fabrication drawings for quotation & manufacturing purpose.- Review Vendor drawings and share comments to align them with the project requirement & achieve system integration- Get the structural systems and piping systems analyzed by coordinating with CAE team- Create detailed fabrication drawings for piping, piping supports and base frame- Refer applicable industry standards e.g. ASME B31.3, API 614, ASTM & mostly all ASME codes related to piping- Coordinate with customers, suppliers as well as vendors throughout the execution of the project- Provide resolution for issues encountered during fabrication or assembly of the machine on the shop floor- Review 3D models & fabrication drawings of subordinates and provide suggestions based on my learnings- Assign tasks to subordinates and review output before sharing with applicant-
