I lead the Head and Neck Surgery program at the Northwestern Medicine and am the Disease Team Leader for Head and Neck Cancer team at Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chicago.Prior to joining Northwestern in 2015, I led the Head and Neck Cancer program at University of Tennessee in Memphis where I worked for 15 years. I also worked at St Jude Children's Cancer Hospital where I directed surgical management for children affected by cancer of the head and neck.

Sandeep Samant was chief of the division of head and neck surgery and a professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at University of Tennessee until January 2015.
