Bioequivalence is checked using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) and other processing and extraction techniques to find concentration of drug in blood (plasma) at different time intervals, after administering drug to a person and plot a curve using this information known as Concentration curve. Now by comparing concentration curves of two drugs (according to rules determined by some regulatory organizations such as Food & Drug Administration (FDA)) we can determine whether two drugs are bioequivalent or not.
