Shell secondee to LNG Canada accountable for successful delivery to cost and schedule and safe execution of the LNG Storage, Loading and Marine infrastructure. This scope includes the LNG Storage Tank, LNG jetty including loading lines and berth facilities, dredging, the Module Offloading Facility as well as expansion of existing (third party) port facilities.

Appointed the role Engineering Lead for Shell’s IG Programme Office. Key responsibilityis to manage integration of all engineering disciplines across Onshore LNG and Floating LNGfor the Program Office and to lead technical development initiatives to maturation anddeployment. Responsibilities includes leading the “fit-for-purpose” engineering standardsprogram to reduce costs and de-risk schedule for capital projects.

Senior engineer providing expert civil, structural and marine expertise for new oil and gas LNG / GTL project developments. Focal point for enabling works, constructability and modularisation.

Shell secondee in the Chevron led Gorgon LNG Project; responsible for successful delivery of the project execution of the LNG Jetty & Marine Facilities scope of work. The assignment included a 7 month period in Paris, France which focussed on the management of the Contractor's engineering and procurement efforts to allow on time commencement of construction activities. The assignment in Paris is followed by a 2.5 year assignment in Perth, Australia to manage the construction and handover / commissioning activities. Strong involvement in contract management including cost, schedule and change assessments.

Civil / Marine engineer at Shell Global Solutions Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). Providing expert civil and marine expertise for new oil and gas including LNG project developments and technical services to operational units within the Asia Pacific region.

Joined Shell in 2003 and seconded to Sakhalin Energy, based in Yuzhno Sakhalinsk, Russia as civil & marine engineer in the LNG / OET project in August 2003. The position involved the provision of expert services for the design, construction, handover and commissioning of the civil and marine works at the Sakhalin II Phase 2 LNG / OET project in Sakhalin, Russia.

Responsible for the detailed design and construction support for a 2.4 km LNG jetty in India. The assignment included a one year management of the detailed design phase in Chennai, India, followed by a one year onsite construction assignment in Dahej, India.

Provided detailed engineering for large scale infrastructure projects in The Netherlands. This position included a one year assignment to the team leading the execution of a large infrastructure project in The Hague.
