Business Analyst at the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Business Systems Center, for the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) system. NECO is a web-based system that allows Navy and Marine Corps buyers to post solicitations, amendments and other procurement notices for viewing by the public and is the only Department of the Navy (DON) system capable of receiving the submission of Vender Bids both manually and electronically utilizing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI.) NECO provides the ability to interface Navy procurements systems to a vast number of entities within the Department of Defense (DoD) and within their own Navy procurement-related applications, resulting in a paperless end-to-end procurement process in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation. As a Systems Analyst on the NECO team, I worked in the following areas, processes and initiatives.- Supported developers on the NECO (Navy Electronic Commerce Online) platform to streamline and maintain the ROM process with Marine Corps and Navy vendors and buyers who wish to post and bid on solicitations.- Collaborated with team of analysts and developers to optimize workflow and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.- Analyzed test requirements, wrote test cases, and reviewed product backlog in Microsoft Azure DevOps.- Successfully redesigned our six, 40+ page Buyer Guides for both our CONUS, Asia, and Europe sites to reflect current procurement processes for buyers who wish to bid on solicitations.-Worked on a team that consist of 6 to 8 government employees and 3 to 4 government contractors members. - NECO processes over a billion dollars in transactions each fiscal year for customers throughout the Navy and USMC. NECO is in a constant state of operations and maintenance (O & M), which requires continual development to support 10,000 plus Stakeholders/Customers (Buyer & Vendors) worldwide.
