At 4 years old, I was setting up shop selling everything from pinecones in my front yard to my Dad’s secret stash of Reese’s peanut butter cups to his store customers. So, I guess I've been on the business path from the start. The reason? I love helping people discover their passions and channel them into healthy organizations and teams that make our communities and the world a better place.Right now, I do this as an Engagement Specialist at People Centric Consulting Group. I love helping organizations become their best and develop highly engaged and empowered teams.Before People Centric, I led hiring efforts within a Fortune 100 financial firm, helping our team become the number 4 recruiting group in the nation. Prior to this, I was a leader in the non-profit industry for nearly 10 years. Most recently, as the Development Director for an multi-million dollar non-profit, I helped hundreds of women start small businesses in Ethiopia and helped youth find holistic support as they aged out of foster care in the U.S. I've also run my own small businesses and social enterprises, including a micro-bakery focused on creating business capital for female entrepreneurs.I'm a Springfield, MO native and passionate about making our community a thriving and welcoming place for all. I serve on the Executive Board for the Ozarks Regional YMCA and WISE Zambia. I am also involved in several local networking and civic groups including The Network & Springfield Chamber of Commerce, League of Women Voters, and Multicultural Business Association.
