As a fresher, I joined Grindwell Norton in 2014. With all the ambiguity in mind, I started learning in a mill environment. Being the only girl on shopfloor, I would like to believe that I did a great job.There were series of awards & projects which started falling in place very soon. • In 2015, won Individual award for “Best Innovation” under Operational Excellence Awards and under Best performance achievers’ awards. Also, won Team award for “Best Business Impact WCM (World Class Manufacturing) Project” for my contribution in cost saving initiatives and for leading new products development.• In 2016, won award for best project under “Innovation & Technology – New product development” for my cost saving project for one of the biggest customers of business.• In 2017, won team award for successfully setting up a new manufacturing plant and launching a wide range of new products in the same year. In the same year, won team award for “Innovation and Technology - New Product Development” for developing new, superior and fast-moving product for another big customer to successfully BRICKWALLING against Competition.• Lead majorly 15 new products development projects as a product developer which also comprises of the upgrades of existing products for some markets and developing cost driven solutions for other markets.• Business of 2 crore with one of the biggest customers was saved by leading the project of “product cost reduction without compromising the quality” which I lead end-to-end starting from vendor development to product and process checks and QC documentation.
