Biomedical Research Scientist with 10+ years of experience in academic research and management in Molecular Allergology, Biotherapeutics and Clinical Immunology. Highly motivated with a proven ability to design, implement and conduct multiple R&D projects simultaneously. Highly experienced in managing and training a team of junior researchers, doctoral candidates and research technicians for executing various projects, leading to high impact publications (40 publications, h-index 19) and translational outputs in immunodiagnostics. Scientific expertise and technical knowledge in a very broad cross-disciplinary area including molecular biology, protein technologies, antibody engineering, immunology, in vitro and in vivo models, proteomics and microbiome research. Trained in setting up and running a certified physical containment 2 (PC2) laboratoryResearch focus on basic science in investigation of molecular and immunological mechanisms and protein structure /function relationships, leading pre-clinical research in development and validation of improved diagnostics and immunotherapeutic lead compounds for immune diseases.
