I am very grateful to have the opportunity to serve those that serve....while working for a great company with compassionate and ethical leaders and associates.My role is to lead quality improvement programs across all lines of Humana Military business, working on initiatives of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial, including:• managing department projects, applications, processes, and reporting requirements;• providing oversight of required focused reviews and other contractual studies;• developing and monitoring study design, data analysis, and collaboration across stakeholders;• coordinating compliance activities with the DoD contract and URAC standards and guidelines.

• Program Manager for the CCTSI Pilot Grant Programs. Responsibilities include management of five pilot grant-making programs providing ~$1M annual seed funding to the UC community and affiliates, including administration of application and review process, and post-award monitoring and evaluation for ROI.• Program Manager for Colorado Profiles research networking system. Responsibilities include program development and implementation, system promotion and advocacy, ongoing training and technical support to the UC community, and coordination with national consortium efforts. • Project Manager for CCTSI UL1 grant administration activities. Major responsibilities recently included coordination of all competitive grant application activities for the successful renewal of the 5-year ~$60M cooperative agreement for this specialized UC system-wide institute. • Project Manager for CCTSI Annual Reporting. Responsibilities include collection and consolidation of performance outcomes metrics for ~700 resource users across the university and affiliates, collection of narrative/budget/regulatory components from 18 CCTSI core programs, submission of sponsor reporting. • Additional management responsibilities focusing on synchronization of activities for the CCTSI Executive Committee, External Advisory Board, and various administrative and ad-hoc workgroups.

• Program Director for the Practice Change Fellows Program. Responsibilities include program application oversight, fellowship award management (40 fellows), advisory board coordination and support (60 members), tri-annual national conference execution, and alumni relations. • Program Administrator of the Care Transitions ProgramSM. Responsibilities include supervision of regional coordinators and trainers, oversight of business plan execution and program tool development, and local and nation-wide intervention training dissemination implemented in 500 +organizations to date. • Research Administration grant coordination and fiscal administration for above programs, multiple foundation grants, federal grants, and individual donor awards. Summary of activities include grant writing and proposal submission; human subjects coordination; budget planning, monitoring and reporting; contract and subcontract negotiation and management, and regulatory compliance.• Fiscal and progress reporting to funding agency project and financial officers.• Supervision and training of core team support staff and external consultants.• Oversight of all research purchasing in a complex organization with multiple purchasing methods, and allocation of expenditures appropriately between diverse funding sources.• Development and management of administrative, safety, and HR work procedures for core team.

• Provide federal grant coordination and administration, including a $6.8M program project grant (11 investigators), training grant, and numerous individual R01 grants. Activities include grant writing, budget planning and monitoring, contract management, fund management, and regulatory compliance.• Coordinate research administration at multiple in-state satellite locations.• Development and management of administrative, safety, and HR work procedures for core research laboratories. • Supervise and coordinate efforts of research residents, associates, fellows, assistants, and students in an environment that fosters communication and collaboration.• Manage all research purchasing in a complex organization with multiple purchasing methods, and allocate expenditures appropriately between diverse funding sources.
