Hello! ¡Hola! Ciao! I'm Sandra Cisneros, a third-year student at the University of Maryland, set to graduate with the Class of 2025. I am pursuing a double major in Marketing and Finance at the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am also working towards fluency in Italian and American Sign Language. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am currently obtaining my real estate license in Maryland.I am a driven and creative individual who values building strong personal and professional relationships in every endeavor. At the University of Maryland, I actively participate in several clubs, including the Women in Business Association, which provides opportunities for professional and personal development for women. I am also a member of the Women's Empowerment Institute, which fosters a supportive community for women from underrepresented backgrounds.I am also incredibly hardworking. As a first-generation college student, I wasn't sure how I would afford to attend a university. I dedicated myself to finding and applying for every scholarship I could. Thankfully, I was awarded enough scholarships to cover my education in full, allowing me to then graduate in May 2025 with no loans or debt! This experience inspired me to create Zoom calls to help other students in similar situations. I provide information on scholarships and grants and offer guidance with their applications, helping them ease their financial burden and achieve their educational goals.Outside of College Park, I dedicate my weekends to returning to Frederick to volunteer with FC Frederick, the soccer club where I grew up playing.
