Manage and support the grant and research program for the Diet Disparities Lab, Milken Institute School of Public Health. Manage resources, reviewing and approving reimbursements, purchase orders, and invoices, reviewing and preparing reports and correspondence to assure compliance with federal regulations, university rules, departmental guidelines, and funding requirements as appropriate. Administer Grants and Sponsored Projects, including grant proposal and budget development, re-application, budget tracking, ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines, and assisting with close-out procedures. Assist lab’s founder and principal investigator in identifying and pursuing new short- and long-term funding. Assist PI in strategic planning, event programming priorities and recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of mentees and research assistants.
