Utilized extensive experience as a General Counsel to create first legal department for a growing national locums tenens staffing company. Provided legal and business advice as a member of the Executive Committee. Designed and implemented a contracts management system to automate contract generation, review and approval by sales and legal teams, healthcare providers and clients. Partnered with information technology team on privacy and security policies and training, including marketing and website compliance, and implementation of sales, financial, and human resources software platforms. Implemented HR compliance initiatives and training, and handled HR investigations and litigation. Performed risk management assessments and handled insurance programs and renewals. Managed outside counsel for litigation and specialized legal areas such as tax and intellectual property. Collaborated with multi-disciplinary team on COVID-19 risk management and policies, as well as work from home and return to work strategies.

As VP, Secretary and General Counsel, I was very involved in the strategic planning for the organization, and served on the executive committee. In addition, I served as Secretary of the Boards of Managers, and attended all meetings. I handled all financial and real estate transactions for the company, including a recent refinancing of its working capital lines of credit, and a reorganization of the corporate structure and governance. My legal team was also responsible for contract management, licensure and certification, intellectual property, privacy and security, and other healthcare compliance matters. I have also previously been responsible for all litigation, risk and employment matters.

Led corporate transactional work in commercial real estate and healthcare. One of my clients was the predecessor of Signature Healthcare, and I was hired by the CEO as the first General Counsel for the company.
