J Squared Mathematics Consulting and Resources provides student - centered, teacher - focused professional development and services to K - 12 schools and districts. Highlights include unpacking your state's math standards, writing rigorous assessments aligned to the expectation of the standards, developing curriculum and pacing guides, conducting classroom observations and providing timely feedback and assisting schools and districts to develop extended learning opportunities for students.

As a mathematics specialist, I worked with K - 12 mathematics teachers across the state. My responsibilites included conducting professional development and onsite visits. In addition, I served as Lead Person of the SC Algebra Project (2005 - 2010), the SC Support Document Revisions (2008) and the SC Common Core adoption process (2009 - 2010).
