Sandy is an experienced stage and event manager, from her beginnings at the Old Globe theater and La Jolla Playhouse, to her 19 years as a PSM for the Walt Disney Company. Specializing in show and night-time spectacular openings, and large-scale events, Sandy has helmed projects such as World of Color at California Adventure, Disney Dreams in Paris, and Fantasmic! at Tokyo DisneySea. She was the opening PSM for 3 firework spectaculars: Remember... Dreams Come True, Magical, and Halloween Screams, as well as Animazement - the Musical, and the inaugural production in the Hyperion Theater, Steps in Time. Events include a Monday Football half-time show, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Minnie Indy Charity race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and most recently the grand opening gala for the Shanghai Disney Resort. Skilled in creative problem solving, operations, project management and organization. Sandy has a Bachelor's Degree in Drama from San Diego State University. She has spent the past 10 years as the Manager of Entertainment Show Quality for the Disneyland Resort, leading the teams who maintain show quality for all ongoing shows, parades and atmosphere groups throughout the Resort. She is passionate about leadership, integrity, and creating a sense of community.
