I was one of a team of active volunteer organizers in Indianapolis for Dean. Dustin Gzym and I created and maintained the Indianapolis for Dean website, which after Dean dropped out of the race for the Democratic nominee, became the Indianapolis for Democracy website.

I outlined and wrote detailed job procedures for the Shipping Department, the International Department, Customer Service, and Transportation. I interviewed the people in each department and then created a manual that minutely detailed each job function in that department. The goal, which I understood I met for all four departments, was to so completely document departmental procedures that in an emergency, an untrained person could use the manual as a guide and successfully complete any job function in the department.Giorgio had just been purchased by Proctor and Gamble, and their quality control department required each Vice President to fully document all job functions in their division. I was hired through a temp agency by the Vice President in charge of the four departments whose job functions I documented.
