Have you imagined starting a leadership career in another country and in your second language? Not me! But here I am. Enjoying every single day of this ride. I made the journey to Australia 10 years ago not knowing in what that this beautiful country would ally me in my professional pathway and today I can say what a learning experience it has been. Identifying myself as a leader has been my best inspiration during the last 8 years, learning from the most important asset of any organization; the people. Leaders around can agree with me that it is not always easy but when I see the achievements/results all the difficulties take the back seat. As a leader, I strongly believe: - Effective communication - Leave others to make their own mistakes to help them to grow - The hard work at the start will pay off in the long run - Their wins are my success - People development is crucial. - Look after your employees will make your life easier and will drive you and your team to achieve goals faster. - Do your best with or without people looking at you.- Loyalty is priority - There is always an opportunity for more. How about my personal life? Yes, I have one. During this time, I understand the importance of work-life balance. When I am not at work, I am riding my bike. Road cycling changed my life I love getting up early 5 am or 6 am including the weekend (too early for a weekend, right?) but the satisfaction after the ride is indescribable, especially after a hills ride. I know it is hard but when I reach the top it makes me remember that we can do everything that we goal for with determination and a little bit of hard work. This is the best matching for my work life as they unite with the same purpose of achieve an objective.
