I was born in western Washington, but have been blessed to call the LC Valley my home for most of my life.     I started at Valley in February as a Business Development Center Representative. I was tasked with making initial contact and follow ups with customer leads to ensure that their questions were answered. I would often communicate over the phone, via text, and email. I gathered information about different vehicles such as pricing, packages, and setting up times for test drives. My favorite thing about being a BDC Rep was getting to go the extra mile to give customers the "Valley Experience" but also to set my Sales Reps up for success. I frequently sent customers custom video walk-throughs and pictures of their vehicle of interest.I also took over management of our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter pages. I created shortvideo walk throughs of vehicles featuring our different Sales Reps, and created fun campaign ideas to keep up our online presence and to promote sales in every department. These campaigns included monthly giveaways, tutorials featuring different products/services, and partnerships with local schools', food banks', and members of the community. After about 4 months at Valley I also took on Receptionist duties at the front desk. I maintained all of my previous tasks, while answering calls from both our Car and RV stores, and directing them to our Sales, Service, Parts, and Office/Management departments. I learned how to take and relay detailed messages, and determined the appropriate course of action for every phone call. I would also help our Parts and Service departments file invoices for sales and parts orders/shipments.

    At Pacific Empire Radio I worked as both an independent marketing consultant as well as an assistant. I built my own client list through cold calling both over the phone and in person, and was tasked with creating social media/radio advertising plans catered to each business. I was also managed accounts, balances, and helped other consultants complete these tasks. I also helped write, copy edit and publish news articles to both our website and Facebook pages, as well as created graphics and station promotions. This position gave me valuable experience in sales/marketing strategies, customer consultations and campaign preparation.

I learned how to work under pressure, handle both positive and negative customer situations, and how to appropriately push a sale. The most important thing I took away from working at Zanys, however, is that in the end hard work pays off both at work and outside of it.
