I have been in my current role with GDL since 2000, and I have a further 20 years experience undertaking similar roles within a variety of industries.My role is to ensure the smooth running of the office, with particular responsibility for management of accounts and cash flow. In addition I provide a point of contact for liaison with clients, suppliers and the workforce, as well as, of course, the company Directors and Project Managers. I also deal with a wide variety of other people as part of my role, including external suppliers, banking staff and HMRC.I have worked both for myself and other organisations in similar roles since the age of 16 and have obtained extensive knowledge and experience in this area, along with dealing with the public. What I particularly like about working here is being part of such a great team [the Directors and Project Manager] that work really well together.
