Sandra has practiced in the areas of corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, liquidating trusts, litigation trusts and complex commercial litigation. She has experience representing debtors, creditors’ committees, and other parties-in-interest in complex bankruptcy cases. Sandra has appeared before the bankruptcy court other business litigation courts on litigation matters. She served as counsel to numerous Chapter 11 debtors, creditors’ committees and individual creditors in several business segments, including agribusiness, manufacturing, retail, ethanol and apparel.Sandra has represented financial institutions and borrowers in various types of secured and unsecured commercial loan transactions. This experience extends to transactions involving real estate acquisition and construction loans, asset based loans (including equipment, inventory and receivables financing), working capital lines of credit and various other complex commercial loan facilities. Her practice included the representation of financial institutions in workouts, financial restructurings, commercial foreclosures and confessions of judgment. Prior to law school, Sandra worked in a management position for Southern States Cooperative a leader in the agricultural industry and as a consultant for an animal health pharmaceutical and equipment company. This experience enabled ease of communicating with and analyzing the legal dilemmas confronted by agricultural and animal health-related businesses and professionals. Sandra is active in the American Paint Horse Association, the Pennsylvania Paint Horse Association, the American Jersey Cattle Association and 4H.
